Thoughts for Christian men and women
1 Corinthians 11:8-12
For man does not originate from woman, but woman from man; for indeed man was not created for the woman’s sake, but woman for the man’s sake. Therefore the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. However, in the Lord, neither is woman independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. For as the woman originates from the man, so also the man has his birth through the woman; and all things originate from God.
The Lord God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.
Woman was not created as a separate entity. She came from man and her rib protected his heart and she is a part of his oneness.
The emasculation of the man in UK and the west and the promotion of independence and toughness of women by the enemy has cleverly created a standoff between the two sexes which of course should be in oneness.
The Christian man needs to be confident in himself as a potential bridegroom like Jesus and hidden and vulnerable in the Father God.
The woman needs to be in a place of vulnerability to submit into his vulnerability. There is now a void in the man for the woman to step into which is Love. The replacement of the rib….
Often too many pre conditions on suitability for ones mate has prevented what the Bridegroom has planned for each person.
If we submit ourselves to His will and choice and wait, He will faithfully present someone as a husband or wife.
Another fallacy is that He will choose someone from within the church or place of worship where one resides. This can cause major problems.
Jesus may choose someone who is spiritually behind one or ahead of one. The church is not supposed to have walls or barriers.
If women and men wish to find their mate and they are willing to learn to be passionate with their Lord beforehand, He will show them how to see the potential mate from His perspective and choice reasons, not theirs.
Perhaps the wait brings impatience and less submission.
After all we are not here for us but for Him. A personal lesson I have learned at great cost. When I finally submitted, it allowed Him to present my gorgeous bride.
We have to stop fantasising. Fantasy never happens. If your dream has not matured, perhaps it’s the wrong dream.
Get the right dream from God. Decide what season you are in. If word is inspired (breathed in) it is God. If it is aspirational, we have to change or do something before the word becomes true in Chronos. So if He speaks a now situation, it is already actioned. We have nothing to do but wait.
I pray powerfully and emotionally for my friends who still have not found their mates but I stand in agreement with Heaven always because He may have a surprise for them that does not fit in their paradigm. He or she may be a different colour or from a different church. They may be not Holy Spirit led or charismatic or Pentecostal.
We need to get to a place where we are not worried what other people say or think about us. God’s choice if we allow Him to make it, will be perfect.
How will we know?
It feels right in the spirit
We see Jesus in the eyes of the other
Love pervades the atmosphere
After dispensing with all the fleshly objections,(age issues, social standing etc) it still feels good. It will be.
We can be utterly vulnerable between each other.
We speak and declare perfect marriages, rapid solutions, and healing to all of our friends searching for mates in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
