Revelations from The Lord on Rest and Peace

Rest/peace = faith = belief = righteousness

Entering into a state of rest or peace is one of our major battles in life. We need to understand that the best way to fight a war, is to realise that the battle is not ours but the Lord’s. We enter into a state of rest, because as it clearly indicates in Hebrews 4:3, the by-product of our belief is having entered into that rest and then resting in His finished works.
Hebrews 4:3
For we who have believed enter that rest, just as He has said,
“ AS I swore in MY wrath,
They shall not enter MY rest,”
although His works were finished from the foundation of the world.

This last sentence is key. It’s all done.

John 19:30
Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “ It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.
Father and Son are uttering the same words.

Therefore if we aren’t in this belief state of finished works, it is equal to us not having faith.
Jesus was not hurried, but relaxed. He had the greatest rest.

The Lord said to us:
‘Once battle begins or any spirit or opposition comes against you, it is vital to enter into that state of rest.
Surrender everything back to me and know that the battle is not yours but mine. That is allowing Me to be God.’

Romans 16:20
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.
The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

2. The shield of faith is also known as the shield of rest

The more we rest, the stronger it gets. The more defense it provides.

3. Rest and revelation makes your hair (the anointing) grow
Stress and everything else causes your hair to not grow, and the anointing to be blocked/ cut.

Samson’s Father’s name Manuakh meant ‘rest’ and when we take into account how anointed Samson was,we can see why rest is so important.

4. Rest can heal a sick person. This is proved scientifically.

The same principle holds true with a spiritually sick person.
1 Corinthians 15:46
But it is not the spiritual life which came first, but the physical and then the spiritual.

5. Rest produces revelation, Manuakh begat Samson meaning enlightenment. He became a judge.

6. Rest also gives discernment
To judge righteously in the spirit, The Lord said it is important to rest.
Samson (enlightenment aka revelation ) the son of Manuakh (rest) brought down singlehandedly the Philistine Temple.

7. ‘The more my people rest the more they will praise me.’ The Lord said..
Psalms 33:1
REJOICE IN the Lord, O you [uncompromisingly] righteous [you upright in right standing with God]; for praise is becoming and appropriate for those who are upright [in heart].
8. Contrast this between restful person and a stressed person.

9. Rest is at the root of righteousness
Genesis 6:9
These are the records of the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time; Noah walked with God.
Abrahams faith made him righteous.
James 2:23
and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “ And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness,” and he was called the friend of God.

10. I will give you (the Beloved of The Lord) rest from your enemies on all sides.
In order to have the dominion that God had we too must rest in His Love which is Jesus, because Love came from God as did Jesus.

11. Speaking in tongues is speaking in rest
we watched an ABC new broadcast with Martin Bashir about testing the effect on the brain of speaking in tongues. it showed far less activity than striving prayer.

12. Resting in GOD is a Way to sacrifice all of yourself as Jesus did. Rest builds an altar unto The Lord. Rest allows the eternal value of Jesus’ sacrifice to come down to earth.

13 Dominion and perfect decreeing is acknowledging that you’re in the glory. Focusing on this fact and then commanding. Just being and resting in Him and who you are in Him is being in the Glory.
1 John 4:17, as He IS (being = resting) so are we in this world.

14. Think firstly of the goodness of God in Scripture, e.g. beholding Jesus (2Cor 3:18), and be changed from glory to glory.

15. A king reigns with nothing in his hands and no burden on His shoulders, but everything in Gods hand and on His shoulders. That is how we build the government that The Lord wants, because He has the government on His shoulders.
When we remain in rest, we sit ( a resting position) on our thrones, and rule. We can decree with comfort whilst sitting. Christ sitting and us sitting in Him who has overcome all already makes our decrees final.
Ephesians 2:6
and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus

Isaiah 9:6
For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us;
And the government will rest on His shoulders;
And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

18. When you’re at rest, you are most one with the Father.

Abraham even though he had the wobbles was perceived by God to have great faith. He rested in Gods faith in Him and belonged to Him. In us accepting that God is all powerful and that our futures are in His hands and we are resting in that, gives us the confidence and strength to go with His flow. Even at times the flow seems too much to cope with. Like being on a raft going down the rapids or a large wave on a small board. We hang in. Great was Abrahams rest The Lord has just said.
Romans 4:18-21Mess
When everything was hopeless, Abraham believed anyway, deciding to live not on the basis of what he saw he couldn’t do but on what God said he would do. And so he was made father of a multitude of peoples. God himself said to him, “You’re going to have a big family, Abraham!”
Abraham didn’t focus on his own impotence and say, “It’s hopeless. This hundred–year–old body could never father a child.” Nor did he survey Sarah’s decades of infertility and give up. He didn’t tiptoe around God’s promise asking cautiously skeptical questions. He plunged into the promise and came up strong, ready for God, sure that God would make good on what he had said.

Faith is the realisation that you can rest, knowing absolutely everything is in His hands and that you can risk leaving it there.

The Lord just said there is no point in trying to defeat a defeated foe and having a revelation of this fact is having faith. Ministry from this position is so easy…

Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

The Lord’s last message on this was the following;

One thing is needful. Mary chose the good part which shall not be taken away from her.. to sit at My feet and hear My Words..

Rest and peace being the root will bring forth the fruit which is the finished product that drops from the Tree. Psalm 1 v 3
