Pesach and the Blood of The Lamb

Redemption by the blood. Passover should be a New Testament feast for Christians as it was in the days of Jesus. The original Lords supper was a Passover meal.

1 Corinthians 5:7-8
Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed. Therefore let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Exodus 12:5-8
Your lamb shall be an unblemished male a year old; you may take it from the sheep or from the goats. You shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month, then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel is to kill it at twilight. Moreover, they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses in which they eat it. They shall eat the flesh that same night, roasted with fire, and they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
( given to Elo in SA at same time I was writing in UK. She didn’t know why she was given it. She was woken up at 12.58! Oneness! )

Passover 2014 starts at sundown Monday April 14 and lasts 8 days.
The Christians celebrate Easter from Thursday April 17th till Sunday 20th.

The Lord has said to us that this is to have a very great significance this year.

We should dwell on the the redemptive and protective features and properties of the Blood and its meaning to us.

The Jews daubed the lintels of their dwellings with purified lamb’s blood for protection from death when God visited the last of the plagues on the Egyptians,Passing Over their houses, killing all the first born in the land.
Pharoah subsequently freed the Jews from captivity, Moses led them to freedom parting the Red Sea.
The Jews remember the freeing from the Egyptian captivity.

We remember the atonement and killing of the Lamb of God freeing us from captivity sin and spiritual death through His Cross and Resurrection.
BOOM…

It is the link that the Jewish people have failed to see and has left them without the realisation that their Messiah has come. A key time to pray and decree unification and revelation to them.

It is no Godincidence that the ceremonial timetable of the slaughtering of the Lamb by the Jewish faith follows exactly the timetable of Yeshua’s passage into Jerusalem and subsequent crucifixion on Calvary.

Thank you Lord for this special coinciding period to reflect where Your People should be focussing.

The Blood IS LOVE

Revvie from A and E

The Lord blew us away with something yesterday.

He said ‘My Blood is Love!’

In the Old Testament the blood of the lamb was used to cover sins and atone for them. The Passover starts tomorrow evening.
He said My Love covers a multitude of sins giving the verse;

1 Peter 4:8
Amplified Bible (AMP)
8 Above all things have intense and unfailing love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins [forgives and [a]disregards the offenses of others].

Boom!

(James 5:20 powerful too)
