Idolatry and the side-effects thereof: Wisdom in choosing Christ above other gods

Idolatry and God’s anger and jealousy
A reality check….

God is jealous for us. He wants us to worship Him not because He is vain but because He is Holy. He wants everyone to turn to Jesus.

The Lord gave us verses this morning we were not familiar with and needed expanding and pondering on. They were powerful and somewhat scary.
A prophet and seer’s task is to release the Truth. We are exhorted to be encouraging.
So we pondered and prayed.
As He does, revealing the Hidden Truths, we have to search for the treasure.

Ezekiel 8:6-7
Furthermore He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, to make Me go far away from My sanctuary? Now turn again, you will see greater abominations.” So He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, there was a hole in the wall.

The story here is about the people in the temple worshipping Tammuz the fertility god instead of Jehovah, the King of Kings. There were also twenty five men facing the east and worshipping the sun.

Jehovah was jealous and had already left the Holy of Holies and the glory of God was rested over the North door of the inner gate where the image of Tammuz was. The glory was there to bring judgement before the glory left completely.

We no longer have a physical tabernacle to worship in as we are now tabernacles ourselves and worship centres directly.

2 Corinthians 5:1

For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Psalms 99:5
Exalt the Lord our God,
And worship at His footstool—
He is holy.

It is His good pleasure to give the Kingdom to us. When we spit it back or disregard it, shakings and anger comes.

We must embrace JESUS
He is merciful kind and loving as well as compassionate. He is delegated as Judge.

He can forgive in one day all sin so long as there is repentance (renewing the mind) and turning back.

Zechariah 3:9
For behold, the stone
That I have laid before Joshua:
Upon the stone are seven eyes.
Behold, I will engrave its inscription,’
Says the Lord of hosts,
‘And I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

So we know how quickly He can turn things round. He wants the House of Israel and the World to repent and accept Jesus. Tel Aviv is one of the most corrupted and debauched cities in the world.

We had a dilemma and sought The Lord on the tone of this word. He comes as the Lion and the Lamb always..

We must repel the Laodocian atmosphere prevailing in the church.

Revelation 3:17-22
Because you say, “I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten.
Therefore be zealous and repent.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’ ”

Notice the retort He makes to their complacency.
Notice how He says there is a cost to following Him and what they need as riches and how we should be clothed.

Hebrews 10:11-17
Christ’s Death Perfects the Sanctified
And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before,
“This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,” then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

Our belief is that He is very angry and jealous of what man is worshipping at present. Although the vision is of Jerusalem and Israel it is about us in the UK and America as well as elsewhere.

At the same time being a merciful God He waits for us to turn back.

We know time is running out for the church to step out.

We are supposed to put Him first in all things. Anything that is put between God and us as a mediator or idol is wrong.

There is only one mediator for us to God the Father. That is Jesus Christ.
A verse He had me insert yesterday was reminded of today.

1 Timothy 2:5
For there [is only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,

Jesus is often very direct with messages to us.
Unusually my beloved spilled the goblet of communion wine on the table when we were searching for revelation.
‘I have spilled my Blood for the world’ He said

It’s one thing to see the world may be deluded or self satisfied. It’s another thing on how one talks to a church that is not receiving His message..
We asked Him.:-
He said ‘Don’t tear down what I am trying to build up. How do you repair a broken person?
With love encouragement and support while using core values of the spirit of prophecy.
We hope we have succeeded here..
