Majesty and His Kingdom

On the way to the church in Louviers where we felt drawn to go to this morning by the Lord, the song completely by happenstance, Majesty by Roy Fields was playing. At the end he speaks the phrase;
‘And every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord’.
This is what we use often when addressing demons. They can but only obey. They have no choice. They must submit. It is ironic that many ‘followers of Christ’ do not obey or submit. Yet the opposition is only too aware of the authority we can speak in.

In churches all over the world today hundreds and hundreds of millions of Christians celebrate Palm Sunday. For some apart from Easter Day and Christmas Day it’s the only devotional day they attend in the annual calendar.
This high mass in a church dating from the thirteenth century has full scale figures of all the apostles standing by the pillars.
The church was full to the brim and branches were blessed outside in a drizzle of spirit rain.
The first epistle surprise surprise was;
Philippians 2:6-11
who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.The Lord likes to reinforce His messages.

The issue is: Are we listening?
During the service I received a strong message to go and bless the priest who was celebrating the mass. He carried an authority yet great humility. I practised numbers 6v24-26 in French though knowing it by heart in English.
At the end of the service we hunted for him among the hundreds of parishioners. In the end I went with my beloved to the sacristy waiting for him to dis vest himself of his robes.
Not knowing us from Adam I introduced ourselves as visiting apostles from abroad. I said we had a simple message from the Lord to bless him. He accepted smiling and thanking us and stood there with his head bent down and made the sign of the cross.
I spoke the blessing in English first then French. His humility and the way he received it blew us away.

Now the priest was talking about the Kingdom during the Mass and Christ bringing the Kingdom to earth.
As we were eating after the Lord gave my beloved the verse Luke 9:11 and she borrowed my iPhone to look it up.

Luke 9:11
But the crowds were aware of this and followed Him; and welcoming them, He began speaking to them about the kingdom of God and curing those who had need of healing.

Christ is the Kingdom. The Kingdom of God is within us. He is inside us. In us the hope of Glory.
This week is all about His Majesty and His Kingdom. As you walk the Paschal events even Pilate is in awe as Christ speaks of His Kingdom. The Lord’s Prayer He teaches his apostles is the same.
Thy Kingdom (Christ) come on earth as it is in Heaven.
This is the week Christians should have their radar tuned to being the Kingdom on earth from Heaven.
When in 2013 He took me through the experience of the Passion over a week period where I was flailed alive left alone in Gesthemene and crucified alongside Him, I wondered why.
He told me it was because that way I would be so close to Him in the future and know intimately how He feels. Also I would understand what He had done for me and the Cosmos.

John 3:16-17
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

The world here is not just earth but translates to cosmos.
Our task is to speak love and blessing to the Universe. That way people will understand that preaching the gospel does not just have an effect on earth but the whole universe. It is suppose to remind us of the power and authority that we walk in.
He gave us
1 John 4:4
You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.(Universe)
Its a Romans 8 verses 19-23 time!
