WWJD (what would Jesus do) in these circumstances?
These are the questions that I wonder about..
How would Jesus answer this couple whom He still deems precious in His sight whilst maintaining His Holiness?
As He said to the women in adultery: ‘Neither do I condemn you, go and sin NO MORE.’
As much as it’s good and well to hear the first part let’s not forget the enablement it brings us to go, and sin no more.
Let’s not forget the ‘no’ in ‘no more’. Let’s not sin more because there is no condemnation.
John 15:20 King James Version (KJV)
20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept My saying, they will keep yours also.
I pray for this couple who unlike many are persecuted for His Name’s sake. For the sake of love are we not supposed to speak the Truth of His Word whilst maintaining Divine gentleness?
Am I judging these people? No, but I am constantly reminded that as kings and priests of the Most High we can excercise a just ‘judgement’ by the Spirit of God, without being judgemental. Without being biased.
I find it very amusing that the nobody mentions the violation of the first amendment.
How subtle is it not that our voice as ‘Christians’ has been taken away?
And our identities left to be molded into the image of the world.
By all means love, but maintain Holiness!
Lord help us find grace to under which we are able to do both – love and yet not be afraid to be the VOICE of truth. To speak only when You tell us.
As the Lord constantly keeps on reminding me – if you fear the people then they will never have any respect for you.
Now, I am left to wonder why the precious people of the world have lost their respect for the Church.
As much as it is that the Church is growing up, and the Sons are rising, we can honestly face the truth in which God will not condemn us, but free us from the fears we may or may not have.
Something to ponder about..
