The Passover according to the Book of Exodus

The Lord told us  to get back to the beginning of the bible and meditate on Genesis 1 v1 because in the beginning we will see it is all about the Passover and the Body of Christ.

We were Taken  to :

Exodus 12:11 Septuagint

Now in this way you shall eat it: your loins girded and your sandals on your feet and your staves in your hands. And you shall eat it with haste–it is the Lord’s pascha.

Exodus 12:11 NKJV

And thus you shall eat it: with a belt on your waist, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. So you shall eat it in haste. It is the Lord’s Passover.

He highlighted the phrase ‘ loins girded’

He asked us to look up other verses that contained this phrase particularly in the OT

This led us to:

1 Kings 18:46 Septuagint

And the hand of the Lord was on Eliou, and he girded up his loins and ran in front of Achaab to Iezrael.

1 Kings 18:46 NKJV

Then the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

He said look up meaning of :

‘Loins girded’ In both these verses .

This was the way that people were used to travelling over rough ground often at speed as their robes would have impeded them. In effect bundling them up their around their girth.

He asked us to also look at ‘the hand of the Lord’ and what it meant in 1 King’s 18 v 46 and

Exodus 13:3 Septuagint

And Exodus 12:41

Then Moyses said to the people, “Keep remembering this day in which you came out of Egypt, from a house of slavery. For by a mighty hand the Lord brought you out from there. And leaven shall not be eaten.

Exodus 13:3 NKJV

And Moses said to the people: “Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out of this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten.

He took us to

Exodus 12:41 Septuagint

And it happened after four hundred and thirty years that all the host of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt during the night.

Exodus 12:41 NKJV

And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years—on that very same day—it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt.

The hand of the Lord means with the power of God, in other words supernatural speed force etc.

Just as Elijah shot forward at incredible speed so were the Israelites translated to safety.

The journey from where they were to the Red Sea was over three hundred miles. With probably close to a few million people it would have taken a few weeks. They went overnight out of the land of Egypt!

The Lord mentioned ‘portal’ to us which makes sense. In fact for the Egyptian army to be pursuing, even if the Israelites did dawdle and hang around by the sea, the soldiers would have likely with Pharaoh, gone through a demonic portal to catch up.

This last verse states it all happened overnight!

Now to the beauty of why they had to take the Host

The key is communion

‘This is my body’

Remember Yeshua was crucified before time began. His body / host was sacrificed.

The Israelites before they escaped from Egyptian soil took ‘communion’ in their Pesach meal. They were not allowed to drink the blood of the sacrificed lamb only unleavened bread. Leaven raises the dough and represents pride and false doctrine.

Matthew 16:11-12

How is it that you do not understand that I did not speak to you concerning bread? But beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Then they understood that He did not say to beware of the leaven of bread, but of edthe teaching of the Pharisees and oSadducees.

Unleavened represents humility.

They took communion ‘the body of Christ.’ Without being aware of it.

By ingesting His body they fulfilled Colossians 2:9 receiving for a moment the fullness of His Deity as we do

The hosts of the Lord were the army of Israelites, little did they know it.

The Lord of hosts Jehovah Tsebaoth

Allowing them to be translated by flight

Those who wait upon the Lord will mount in wings of eagles.

Colossians 2:9

For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form,

The meaning of Pesach (Passover) analysing the Hebrew Letters

Phe. – Opening, an entrance

Samekh. -The number 60 A way, an aid,  where Heaven touches earth. Ergo a portal. 6 is man and 10 is Yeshua God, the fullness.

Cheth -inner room or chamber, Holy of Holies

So taking the Host, in communion gives one an entrance to go through a portal to the Holy of Holies experience the fullness of Yeshua the Christ or anointed One

By the Israelites taking the Pesach they experienced an element of the fullness of God and His mighty Hand (earth heaven earth)

Boom boom
