Shalom and the 39 stripes

The 39 stripesPaid for in advance by Yeshua
Shalom ( wholeness, peace, (Meshulem )paid for in advance

I came into the living room this morning and found my beloved crying. She had been pressing into the Name of the Lord and was seeking counsel on ‘shalom’ that He provides.

When she was very young she had seen and heard Him crying out over and over again at the flagellation not understanding what was going on.

The verses below were fed into her mind today:
Isaiah 53:3-5 Septuagint

But His form was without honor, failing beyond all men,

a man being in calamity and knowing how to bear sickness;

because his face is turned away,

he was dishonored and not esteemed.

This one bears our sins

and suffers pain for us,

and we accounted him to be in trouble

and calamity and ill-treatment.

But he was wounded because of our acts of lawlessness

and has been weakened because of our sins;

upon him was the discipline of our peace;

by his bruise we were healed.
Isaiah 53:3-5 NKJV

He is despised and rejected by men,

A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.

And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;

He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

Surely He has borne our griefs

And carried our sorrows;

Yet we esteemed Him stricken,

Smitten by God, and afflicted.

But He was wounded for our transgressions,

He was bruised for our iniquities;

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,

And by His stripes we are healed.
The Septuagint which He wanted us to use is more powerful in translation
Despised ( not liked at all) is less powerful than dishonoured.

He bore our sins not just grief.

His bruise meant black and blue in Hebrew. Four hundred and sixty eight whip stripes. 39 blows of 12 flails required for transgressing the laws according to the Mishna. 468!!!

The reason why we can get His Peace Shalom is because of the punishment He received due for us, laid on Him.

That’s why we say greeting ‘the Peace of the Lord be with you.’

We could never give each other our peace.

She was then reminded of a time in Cape Town when she was trying to sleep and her mind was too active and agitated and confused to get into a state of rest.

She saw in a vision a Jewish man in a white robe and red sash walking by and for no apparent reason being attacked to the head with a stick. At the time she did not realise it was Yeshua.

She saw the verse below appear in front of her face and merge into the transpiring scene.

Mark 12:4

Again he sent them another servant, and at him they threw stones, wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully treated.
As she saw that, she felt peace in her head arrive.

His chastisement brought her internal peace.

Sometimes when we worry about health and well being for ourselves and others it is easy to forget what Yeshua went through to get rid of sin, sorrow and sickness and bring us peace and rest.
From the time He was born He felt everything He came across and saw in people.

Imagine that pain to carry.

If we don’t learn to see and love people the way He does, we have failed Him and everything He did for us.

No half measures. So men, it’s ok to cry when you see pain in others. It’s a sign you are a little way along the road to understanding how He feels.
This is why we need to be inside His Name as He is Peace.

Outside we will never attain full Shalom

As my Beloved was pondering this morning she heard the word El Shaddai.

Now He asked us to look at the numerology of ‘shalom’ and the Hebrew letter meanings
Shin – 300 The breasted one, the El Shaddai the all sufficient One

Lamed- 30 teaches

Vav- 6 security ( nailing own securing)

Mem- 40 the concealed truth of God ( the letter in this case is stumah- closed)

The all sufficient One teaches us security through the concealed truth of God

The total number of the letters making Shalom come to 376

Well 376 Hz is the sound for peaceful sleep.

The fundamental frequency of the shofar is 376hz

No surprise

Go for it. !!!
