Who are you listening to?

Who are we listening to ?There are three sources:

God

Ourselves

The enemy
Let’s start with the last first. The enemy was always bring plausibility but there will be a niggling feeling in you that it might not be right. He can only clone things and will always put a bit of truth into the solution
Ourselves.

This will be often clear too quickly and the decision seems logical and reasonable. It will always be motivated by protection low risk fear or a hidden negative or agenda. After you may not feel it was the right decision.
God

When you hear something that seems just about the opposite of what your common sense would say, it is most likely the Holy Spirit.

If ever in doubt ask the Lord for a further confirmation. Choose something totally unequivocal.

One friend always asks for a big spider to appear nearby. It works wonders.

Afterwards you will always feel at peace with the decision.

If you want to hear God’s angle be prepared to be surprised.
Isaiah 55:8-9

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,

Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

So are My ways higher than your ways,

And My thoughts than your thoughts.
A few years ago the Lord led me to sow into a building fund at a church in California.
The suggestions of amounts were indicated on the website. My natural predilection was to go to the lowest amount. But I felt a terrible conviction to go to the highest. In fact my finger felt drawn to move the mouse onto this figure. It spooked me because it was a figure higher than I could afford.

However the Lord could afford it and all I have is His. He replenished me a shortly while later.

I had listened to Him
