Church of Sardis
The Dead Church
“And to the angel of the church in Sardis write,
“These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: ‘I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.
We may think we are alive but is that to Man or God?
If we are dead to God we need to review where we are.
He gave us
But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name—
Is the ecclesia and her adherents trying to make life to cosy with their Creator?
The Lord said just now
‘If people haven’t come across the devil or his dwelling place in their travels as an evangelist what on earth have they been evangelising all this time ?
Well I have and I have no illusions as to his existence.
Heylel fell as they say. Read your Bible. He fell with one third of the angel army into the cosmos.
One of the greatest gifts God gave us was ‘choice’
Man makes unsound and bad laws and the wrong choices.
God’s laws have set parameters as a protection for believers not for unbelievers.
They are perfect and need to be obeyed.
When the ecclesia thinks as ‘man’ when it comes to right and wrong good and evil it is an error.
It needs to see it from God’s perspective.
What is just and defined as good by the church will be tainted if the lenses they use is man’s.
I AM is the same God of the Old Testament as He is of the New.
We have the benefit of His Son and the Holy Spirit that brings a little less of the scary in Him.
The ecclesia loves to dumb down His awesome power and authority
A God who loves unconditionally cannot possibly be the same God that creates a place like hell.
If you reject Him why should you spend eternity with Him?
The bible is full of examples from attendance at marriage feasts and His covenant that makes that clear.
Do we reject Yeshua’s own words
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Booming no to Sardis.
