True humility is making our lives about Him and not ourselves.
True humility and submission to God are ‘access key codes’ to entering the Holy of Holies.
Those who meditate, become very conscious of the object of their thoughts.
As a Man thinketh so it is( becomes). Prov 23-7
The problem is that when meditation is not centred on Christ, it serves to amplify whatever it focuses on. ‘Self’ in many cases.
Anytime we meditate and it’s not focussed on Christ, the after effects can be disastrous. If you don’t have Christ or haven’t accepted Him as your Lord and Saviour then it will only serve as an amplification of your fallen soul.
As much as you want to change the world, it cannot be done without Him. Whereas if you are a believer in Him and keep your meditation, centred on Him (both being vital for true transformation of self and the Cosmos) then He will replace your heart (soul) and that will have a ripple effect on your life and the Cosmos. [2 Corinthians 3:18].
Guard your heart for out of it flows the issues of life. Prov 4:23
You cannot successfully guard your heart against the presence of evil without Christ. He is your shield. He is the only one pure enough to withstand the wicked one.
Christ is the only one who can restore order. Why is the world in such chaos? The Lord one day said to us that it is because;-
‘My Sons are not meditating on Me enough!
Those who have no business up in the realms of Heaven are accessing the gateways into the different dimensions of the Heavenlies and defiling the wells of peace.
You, My Sons should rise up and guard these gateways.
People who should not be there will not get access to these wells of peace if My Sons are performing their job properly.’
This will be the effective reinstatement of Yeshua as the Prince of Peace.
It’s also due to the fact that both the believers and unbelievers hearts are not totally purified and yielded to Christ. Luckily, when we are ‘yielded believers’ and Christ-centered mystics, we have the upper hand.
Unbelievers and believers whose hearts and meditations are not centred on Him are thieves and robbers. His words, not ours.
He is the only Way, Truth and Life. [John 14:6; John 10:1-21]
An unredeemed soul praying and meditating can have a disastrous effect on the world and the cosmos because they are not centring on Christ who has all authority over the Heavens and the Earth.
The effect can basically be described as a systematic defilement of the Universe. That’s why when Christ is not the centre of something, defilement or wreckage occurs and the presence of evil is made manifestly clear. This goes for marriage, and all relationships too.
Romans 8 19-23 speaks clearly of our purpose. But without the focus on Christ, the earth and universe remain in bondage and decay. If the soul is not purified and has lust or anger or jealousy etc, the meditation will pick that up and project that into the cosmos. If there is ‘dross’ within us, meditation will bring it forth.
Christ the glue
Christ has to be the centre of our heart as He is the means through which we are able to bring Heaven to Earth.
He is also the laminin which holds all things together. [Col. 1:16-17 NIV] Cast out Christ and the laminin is no longer there. As a result, things fall apart.
The importance of salvation.
Now you will begin to see why salvation is so important to the Lord. When He is our focus and our hearts are turned toward Him in obedience – even if it leads us to death, He will manifest His Kingdom and reign through us. We are the seeds. We are His vessels for the outpouring of His glory. The old man has to die for the new man to live just like a seed. The old soul needs to go for the heavenly soul to take over.
Man cannot live by bread alone. [Matthew 4:4] Man needs not just to hear the words that are spoken by the Triune God, but needs to heed them as they act as a lamp for man’s feet – (both on Earth and in the Heavens -spiritual realms ). [Ps. 119:105] His word allows you to see where you’re going in the Spirit too.
This is why we also don’t believe that a fallen man can teach a saved man the way to peace. It’s like the blind leading those who can see. This would not make sense.
Man cannot see where he’s supposed to go in the natural and in the spiritual realm if the Word (Yeshua) is not a lamp to his feet. The Word was always supposed to be a light for our souls too. Jesus Christ/Yeshua (God’s Word made flesh) is this Word which should lead us.
Christ is the Shepherd who restores our soul. It is only when the soul is born from above and continually restored that we can walk in the paths of righteousness for His Name’s sake. [Psalm 23:3]
You cannot be lead in the paths of righteousness without the restoring of your soul. Whether you’re a Buddhist, Shinto, Sikh, Muslim or Hindu. Whatever you are without Christ amounts to nothing. Your good works won’t save you. Only knowing Him will.
The restoration of the soul only happens when we acknowledge Him (Jesus Christ/ Yeshua) as our Lord and Saviour.
You can’t reap the benefits of the entire Psalm 23 without this acknowledgement. It is then that through the acknowledgement of Him as our Saviour and us taking our position as sheep who follow His voice that we shall not experience any lack but live in the fullness of His Shalom (peace). Psalm 23 is a parable and instruction booklet of how we can successfully bring Heaven to Earth. John 10 is the same.
Effectively bringing Heaven to Earth cannot happen without this sincere acknowledgement of Yeshua being our Saviour and Shepherd.
Obedience and servitude
Unfortunately, true obedience to God also cannot come from obeying the Ten Commandments, but it comes from being filled with the Holy Spirit and focusing on Him.
In the parable of Mary and Martha in Luke 10, Martha was doing her very best trying to serve Him in any and every way she could. But it was Jesus’ words which let her know that it was only by following the example of Mary – sitting at His feet, and beholding the Son of God (Yeshua) that we are able to walk perfectly before Him always in His ways while we are being changed from glory to glory. [Luke 10:38-42, 2 Cor 3:18; Gen. 17:1]
The Door to the sheepfold
Yeshua is the door to the sheepfold (Heaven). He who enters finds pasture (everything they could possibly need and more). The question is will we be humble enough to become His sheep and listen to His voice and follow Him wherever He goes, or will we be stubborn like goats always kicking back and refusing to truly listen to Him out of our hardened hearts. The choice is ours and God loves us enough to allow us to make our own decision. Even if it pains His heart in the process.
It is all about focussing on the Shepherd and you will hear His voice and Word. He is the Word
